Hiwot Management

  • The general assembly has a supreme power on matters of the organization.
  • The Executive board responsible for the strategic direction of the organization.
  • The Executive director undertakes the overall direct management of the administration and program decisions
  • The program section has 16 Temporary and permanent staffs working in different projects
  • Administration and Finance section has 5 staff members.
  • More than 100 Young people and 60 adults (parents) are working voluntarily with Hiwot on different activities.

Administration and Finance



Hiwot Ethiopia has a well-defined program and administrative structure, which reflects the role and responsibility of the respective personnel’s in the program and administrative set up. This ensures internal integration, coordination and responsibility throughout the system. Likewise, it has prepared a financial manual that reflects the system is being used in the organization framework.
 


Networks and Collaboration

The organization has played a leading role for the establishment of youth to youth ASRH Addis Net-work (YYAA-NET) and is serving as a chairperson due to its rich experience and participation in the youth to -Youth programs. Besides, Hiwot is a council member of Addis Ababa HIV/AIDS council. The Organization has created different Networks and partner ship at national and international level.
Locally, Hiwot is currently working with Addis Ababa health Bureau, MOLSA, MOH, MOYC, Addis Ababa HIV/AIDS Prevention and control office, Addis Ababa city Council, Northern Shoa zone merhabete woreda(district) of Amahara region DPPC Bureau, health and youth sport and culture,Kifle Ketema, and Kebeles, youth and women association etc. Whereas among the intercontinental Networks and partnership, ASRH Net-Work of Africa (ANA), Youth to youth Exchange Program, Gente Joven (Mexico), Sweden, Philippines, USA, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Sudan South Africa and Tanzania.
